💪 How to Eat 50 Grams of Protein: Tips and Tricks for a High-Protein Diet 🍗🥚
The first point of confusion when tracking your protein intake is the difference in the weight of the food versus the amount of protein in that food. When you hear you need to eat 150 grams of protein daily, that does not mean eating 150 grams of meat. For example, steak contains protein, fat, and a very small amount of carbs in the form of connective tissue. You must learn how many grams of protein are in different foods to plan your meals accordingly.
As you can see, according to my cheat sheet below, a six-ounce top-round steak has fifty grams of protein. So, you would not need to eat fifty grams of steak to get fifty grams of protein.
