🍲 Protein-Packed Ground Beef Breakfast Bowl Recipe: A Hearty Way to Start Your Day 🍳

This hardy ground beef breakfast bowl recipe can be enjoyed any time of day and is a simple and easy meal to prepare in advance. If I were to prepare this in advance, I would cook a bulk batch of the ground beef and have it ready in the fridge. Then, when you are ready to eat, all you have to do is reheat the ground beef in the microwave and cook the eggs.

No special equipment is needed for this recipe. If you don’t have a lid to cover your sauté pan, you can use aluminum foil, a plate, or even a cutting board to cover it when cooking the eggs. I love this method because when you add water to the pan, the steam that is created will cook the top of the eggs; therefore, no flipping is required.

When you cook the ground beef, you’ll want to make sure to break it up with a spatula as it cooks in the pan. You’ll know it’s done when there is no pink left.

This dish is best served fresh, but if you decide to cook the ground beef in advance, it will last up to one week in a sealed container in the fridge.

If you don’t like spicy food, you can substitute the chili onion crunch with dehydrated onion; you still get a bit of a crunch without the spice. Everyone has a preference for how they like their eggs cooked, and if you prefer runny yolks, you can cook the eggs for a shorter period of time. Conversely, if you want firm yolks, cook them for longer.

You can also scramble the eggs if you wish. Make this dish your own by customizing it to your preferences. That is one of the many joys of cooking.

This recipe is high in fat; if it’s too much fat, remove the avocado or replace some eggs with egg whites.
